Our Story
Jurassic Stone was founded by Maxwell Redman, who began his journey in stonemasonry at just 16 years old in Avalon, NSW. By the age of 21, his passion and dedication to the craft led him to establish his own business, which he named Jurassic Stone.
Over decades, Max honed his skills, developing a reputation for precision, artistry, and integrity in his work. His commitment to excellence became the standard he passed down to his sons, ensuring the family tradition of craftsmanship continues to this day.
Now proudly based on the Mid North Coast, Jurassic Stone brings generations of experience to every project. Our expertise spans all types of stonework — from traditional and structural applications to intricate, bespoke designs.
Our portfolio includes a wide range of residential and commercial projects, with one of the most notable being the home and recording studio of Tim Farriss of INXS in Frenchs Forest.
At Jurassic Stone, we believe stonework is more than building — it’s about creating lasting beauty that stands the test of time.
